RYS. STUDIO
RYS.STUDIO is created by the duo: Konrad Onderko and Malgorzata Radaj. Our interior architecture, furniture design and fabrication studio was established in 2020.
We have a track record of numerous projects for furniture, interior accessories and complex arrangements. Each project has been different, each in some aspect interesting and developing, and all subsequent projects represent the potential for new possibilities, which we enthusiastically reach for.
LOCATION.
When undertaking a new project, we pay special attention to the location of the place where we are to create. We analyze the character of the space and its surroundings, recognize obvious and non-obvious possibilities, study the spatial relationships inside. And once we know the atmosphere in which the designed place is set, we look at the details, observe the behavior of natural light in the interior and the views from the windows. In the design process, every nuance matters to us.
COMPOSITION.
Ergonomics is very important in our projects, but composition comes first. We take the position that each element of the interior must have specific proportions, but since none of them appears in the interior independently, all of them together must take into account the interrelationships. We harmonize textures, match shades and strive for the ideal, in which each element separately is set in a designated framework, and all together form a coherent whole.
DETAIL.
We are eager to reach for non-standard solutions that force us to pay attention to detail.
NATURAL MATERIALS.
What we can reach for from nature is multidimensional, spatial, imperfect in a sense, and therefore unique. Natural raw materials do not have perfect patterns, and thanks to this they are not artificial, flat and lacking in depth. The list of their qualities does not end there at all. They are functionally friendly, vital and smoothly refinishable materials that are great to work with when it comes time for a refresh.
WOOD.
We have our own carpentry shop, where our furniture and wooden items are made. We look for interesting textures and select the grain. We use different species of wood, which, when juxtaposed together, take on a new expression.
